Oxford lady winning
$500 000 on the lottery

A player of the Michigan Lottery's Ruby Red Wild Time instant game from Oxford lost control of her emotions after winning a $500,000 prize.

Brandi Chislett-Barnes, 35, said, "My husband and I enjoy playing the Wild Time games. "When we stopped at the petrol station, we bought two Wild Time tickets, which we then scratched off while we were driving.

I screamed and sobbed when I realised I had won $500,000. They all cheered as I revealed the winning reward amount to my family. Our family is really grateful for this money, which arrived just in time.

Chislett-Barnes purchased her winning ticket at the BP petrol station in Oxford, which is situated at 721 South Lapeer Road. Chislett-Barnes said she intends to use the money to buy a home after visiting the lottery's headquarters to collect her reward and save the rest.
