Drew Timme added a 3-pointer to his moustachioed, head-faking, and twisting repertoire to help Gonzaga advance and return to the Final 16.
The Gonzaga big man prolonged his exceptional college career by at least one more game on Sunday, scoring 28 points to help the Zags beat TCU 84-81 in overtime to go to their eighth straight Sweet 16.
With just under nine minutes remaining, the third-seeded Zags (30-5) took a seven-point lead after trailing for the majority of the night as Timme scored his first three-pointer since December and only his third of the season.
Before he took his jumper, Timme referred to the gap as "massive," citing the time remaining and the two-point advantage. "I just fired one upward. You are only able to smile and laugh.
Timme made a swerving shot in the lane with a defender was encircling him to start a 4-0 mini-run that put the game out of reach after TCU narrowed the gap to three late.
The 6-foot-10 senior's next destination, along with his Instagram-friendly moustache, is Las Vegas, where he will compete in the West Region quarterfinals on Thursday against UCLA.

It will be a rematch of the teams' Final Four contest from two years prior, which Jalen Suggs won by banking a shot in at the buzzer from the half-court logo.
The sixth-seeded Horned Frogs (22-13), who were attempting to win two games in the same tournament for the first time in programme history, were led by Mike Miles Jr., who finished with 24 points and four assists in his second consecutive electric game.
